High Season
Sim experiences its high season from May to October, coinciding with drier, cooler weather. Temperatures during this period typically range from 20°C to 28°C, making outdoor activities more comfortable. The air feels crisper upon arrival, and clear skies often greet you, enhancing visibility across the landscape.
This season brings a noticeable increase in social gatherings and cultural festivals, as communities celebrate in the favourable conditions. Local markets are often more bustling, and residents spend more time outdoors, fostering a vibrant atmosphere. You will find that daily life moves at an active pace, reflecting the energetic mood that defines Sim during these months.
Low Season
The low season, from November to April, is characterised by increased rainfall and higher humidity. Temperatures during this period average between 25°C and 32°C. Upon landing, you might notice the air is thicker and the landscape appears lusher and more verdant due to the frequent rains, which can sometimes be heavy but often occur in short bursts.
During this time, life in Sim adopts a slower rhythm. While outdoor activities are still possible, they are often planned around the rain showers. Local events may be fewer or held indoors, and the focus shifts more towards community activities within homes or covered areas. The natural environment is at its most vibrant, offering a different, quieter perspective on Sim's distinct identity.
